Famous early vegetarians, religion and health

Introduction

Why do so many famous vegetarians around the world actively promote vegetarianism? Vegetarianism is not a new trend. It has been practiced even in ancient India and other Far East countries for thousands of years. Some historians would incline to believe that the concept reached the west in a much later centuries. However, many historians believe that the concept of vegetarianism dates back to classical antiquity which means that people began to practice abstention from eating meat as early as the 6th century BC.

Vegetarianism and Religion

The concept of vegetarianism was thought to have originated in 6th century India, the time when Jainism and Buddhism religions established vegetarianism as a fundamental rule for their adherents. Some theories proposed that the Jainism’s concept of vegetarianism may be much older, which is particularly stricter than that of the Buddhism’s concept. Parshva, the earliest historical figure in Jainism, was said to have advocated non-violence to animals and instructed his followers to abstain from eating animal flesh. Gautama Buddha also adhered to similar teachings later on. In this context, both Parshva and Buddha can be considered as the earliest famous vegetarians.

Many historians believe that the concept of vegetarianism began to exist in Europe almost at the same time as in ancient India. It is said that as early as 6th century BC, a religious movement somewhere in Greece abstained from eating the flesh of animals. One of the key figures at that time was Pythagoras, a religious leader and a famous philosopher who lived near Italy. Pythagoras, therefore was one of the famous vegetarians in ancient Europe.

The earliest mention and most probably the oldest evidence of vegetarianism in Christian religion is found in the Bible, in the Book of Genesis where the creation of the world and and the first plants was mentioned. Although in later times, especially during Noah’s time and the birth of Israel tribe, eating meat was permitted but only in certain conditions. Much later time, meat was offered as a sacrifice for pagan gods. In Jesus time, there was no mention of prohibition of eating meat but the diet of fish and bread was often mentioned in many contexts. Matthew, Peter and James were said to be some of the famous vegetarians at that time.

Some adherents to a few Christian sects and most adherents to Islam religions abstain from eating certain types of animals or some parts of animals. Generally, however, consumption of meat from all types of animals and its by-products is not prohibited among all religions and sects. The practice of meat abstention during Lent, most especially on Fridays, is strongly encouraged among most Roman Catholics.

Vegetarianism and Health

There are many controversies surrounding the issues of adopting a vegetarianism diet. Many groups who criticize adherents in their abstention from eating meat and all food products derived from animals contend that they might not be able to get adequate supply of essential nutrients needed for the body to function at its optimum level. However, many famous vegetarians in the entertainment industry would disprove it. In fact, they lend their celebrity status to non-profit organizations to advance the cause of keeping a strict vegetarian diet.

Scientific studies show that consumption of animal flesh and related products contribute a significant incidents of developing numerous illnesses among meat eaters. The animal fats which mostly contain saturated fatty acids are considered less healthy and therefore must be avoided. Many advocates, including famous vegetarians suggest to replace animal fat in cooking with vegetable oil such as olive oil and sunflower oil as they contain the least amount of saturated fats. Together with corn oil, peanut oil and soybean oil, they are commonly considered as healthy alternative to animal fats.

It is said that vegetarians lack essential nutrients needed by the body. But studies show it is inconclusive as our body can manufacture most nutrients and other essential elements it needs to function properly. The protein which is found in great abundance in both plants and animals is the building block of all living organisms including the cells in our body. Therefore, one can forgo eating meat without depriving himself of ample supply of protein in the body. There are many famous vegetarians who are able to keep a healthy body and mind by following on a strict diet of plant-base food.

Conclusion

Adopting a vegetarianism lifestyle is a serious advocacy. Practicing it is even more challenging but not exactly a hard endeavor to attain your goal for a healthy lifestyle. You can do the same by simply following what most famous vegetarians do – strict adherents to the cause and self-discipline.

Famous vegetarians joining the governments concepts

Introduction

Some of the famous vegetarians are joining in the government’s campaign against eating unhealthy diets. The increasing awareness of the people around the world today on the importance of keeping a good eating habit among younger generations has prompted many multinational food companies to change their marketing strategies to remain competitive in their respective businesses. Many major companies in the food industry especially the major restaurant chains in the quick-service business, have recently developed a number of menu that is attractive to vegetarians.

Most recent studies revealed that the portion of the entire population that is considered obese in the United States and certain other industrialized countries are steadily growing. The proliferation of fast food restaurants and instant food items which are easily available in most groceries and supermarkets is partly blamed for the steady growth of obesity among younger populations in many countries. The growing affluence of most population in developing countries is another factor that contributes to the growing trend of the population who patronize fast food restaurants. Many concerned groups have tapped the service of many famous vegetarians to pitch for them their advocacy to the people.

Why Do People Go Vegetarianism?

Many people try to contend that not all of us have the privilege to follow a strict diet regimen to attain our personal goal. That is a wrong contention. Each one of us is capable of regulating our dietary habits. Many believe that most famous vegetarians today spend millions of dollars annually to keep themselves in top shape. Again, it’s not true. Although they are celebrities in their own right, most of them, in the contrary, don’t spend more than they need to.

Being vegetarian is not a privilege. It is your right. It is your fundamental right to live a healthy lifestyle. Famous vegetarians are no different than most of us. They don’t use their vast wealth to gain a healthy lifestyle. This misconception can be attributed to the fact that most of the world’s famous vegans are usually celebrated figures in the entertainment, political and sports sectors. But the truth is, they are just like us who impose strict discipline on themselves. The right attitude and personal commitment to one’s goal in life should be our guiding principles.

Health Benefits and Concerns

There have been studies conducted that the consumption of meat and meat products derived from  animals can have an adverse effect to one’s health. Scientific studies reveal that a number of health issues among men are attributed to the consumption of these food. Many proponents of the meatless diet contend that one can still get essential nutrients from plants which our body needs. This has been advocated by many famous vegetarians even before the advent of popular dietary programs.

Our body needs protein to build muscles so that all the body parts can function properly. Protein is the building block of body cells. Without adequate supply of this essential nutrient, our body can fail that may lead to muscle dystrophy and eventually, death. Both plants and animals are excellent sources of proteins. Nutritionists and dieticians agree, however, that proteins from plants are a better alternative to proteins from animals. Not that plant proteins are superior to animal proteins. It is because the consumption of meat to get one’s protein requirement will also possibly include some other chemicals which may cause health problems. Many famous vegetarians will attest to that.

Ethical Considerations

Some form of vegetarianism promote the welfare of animals. Many famous vegetarians are also strong advocates against any form of maltreatment to animals. Most recently, animal rights activists vocally condemned the inhumane keeping and slaughter of animals for use in many fast food restaurants. They called for a worldwide boycott of the products from certain companies unless they would issue an apology and promise to stop such inhumane practice.

Most people, including many famous vegetarians, who advocate and adhere to this diet, often shun meat altogether and their by-products and related food derived from animals like honey, eggs, milk and many other dairy products. Most Hindus practice vegetarianism to uphold the sacred teachings in their religion: principles of non-violence applied to animals; the intention to offer only pure food to the gods, and the belief that animal flesh is detrimental to the mind and spiritual well-being.

Conclusion

The practice of vegetarianism is not a monopolistic domain of the celebrities and the wealthy who have become famous vegetarians themselves. It is a universal right. It is simply a practical endeavor that only requires self-discipline and a willingness to adopt a healthy lifestyle.

Types of vegetarism

Introduction

Why do many people, including many famous vegetarians in the world practice the vegetarianism? There are various reasons why so many people resort to diet like this. There are people who adhere to vegetarianism because of their affiliations or associations to certain religious beliefs or cultural traditions. Buddhism adherents are an example of people who practice vegetarianism in accordance to the teachings of their faith. There are also people who practice vegetarianism because of certain advocacy that they support like what many famous vegetarians do today.

Kinds of Vegetarianism

Not two vegetarians are alike. This may sound as a cliche but it is definitely true. No two vegetarians eat and omit the same foods. Some vegetarians may eat food products derived from animals such as milk, eggs and cheese; while some vegetarians strictly adhere to plant-based food products even excluding honey and processed fruits and vegetables. Some of the famous vegetarians are strong adherents to plant-based food only diet.

Not one, not two, not even three, and definitely not even four types of vegetarianism practiced by vegetarians today, but nine. Yes, this may surprise many of us out there but this is how vegetarians  classify themselves. Many famous vegetarians may belong to any of these types.

Veganism. Adherents to this type of vegetarianism claim that they are the true vegetarian in any sense of the word. The people who belong to this type abstain completely from eating all animal products or food derived from animals. To some extent, they also avoid using or wearing clothing products made from animals like leather, wool, etc.  Famous vegetarians belonging to this type include many Hollywood celebrities like Brad Pitt, Tobey Maguire, Daryl Hannah, Ellen DeGeneres, Linda Blair, Alec Baldwin among others. Most animal rights activists are strong adherents to this type.

Ovo-lacto vegetarianism. This type of vegetarianism often includes eggs and dairy products on one’s diet. The ovo-lacto vegetarianism is often misunderstood by so many people, especially in the western concept of vegetarianism. This is the type of vegetarianism where most western vegetarians belong. There are many celebrities who profess to be vegetarians but usually fall into this category. Several famous vegetarians such as sports superstars and musicians are adherents to this type.

Ovo vegetarianism. If a vegetarian says that he abstains meat and dairy products but includes eggs to his diet, he is said to be an ovo vegetarian. This practice seems to have been criticized by true vegetarians who argue that eggs are still animal food products. But adherents to this type contend that they only eat eggs produced by free-range chickens and shun eggs produced by commercial farmers and those eggs sold in chain stores and big supermarkets which are known to have contracted commercial farmers. Many famous vegetarians belong to his group.

Lacto vegetarianism. Another controversial type of vegetarianism is lacto vegetarianism. Adherents to this type often include all sorts of dairy products such as milk, cheese, yogurt, butter, kefir, ice cream and cream products, casein, etc. Unlike ovo vegetarians, they exclude eggs on their diet. Although the exact numbers of famous vegetarians who belong to this group are unknown, it is widely believed that many of them practice this way.

Raw veganism. Probably the most extreme of all types, raw vegetarianism only include fresh and uncooked fruits, seeds and nuts to their diet. They also include on their diet grain and legume sprouts, sea weeds, herbs, plant oils and fresh juices. Although sometimes, some vegetables may require a certain degree of heating process which doesn’t normally go above 118 degrees Fahrenheit. No known  famous vegetarians in the world are said to have practiced this type of vegetarianism. Adherents to this vegetarianism are said to be deficient of many essential nutrients which are not readily found in plants.

Fruitarianism. This is a type of vegetarianism where fruits, nuts, seeds and other plant matters that are harvested without injuring the plant. Foods most fruitarians consume include fresh and dried fruits and vegetables such as raisins, grains, beans, peas, honey and many others.

Buddhist vegetarianism. Most Buddhist vegetarians are also faithful to Buddhism religious practices. Their diet primarily exclude all animals and their by products as well as vegetables and herbs belonging to allium family such as leeks, garlics, onions, shallots, chives and scallions.

Jain vegetarianism. Diet in this type includes dairy products but excludes eggs, honey and root vegetables.

Macrobiotic Diet. Adherents to this type only eat whole grains and beans.

Many famous vegetarians are also famous animal rights activists and advocates of healthy lifestyle.

Why famous vegetarians do it

Introduction

Do famous vegetarians practice strictly what they preach? Many of us today are becoming conscious as to how we eat and what we eat. There are many instances that we strictly adhere to certain diets that we believe will make us healthy, look more appealing to opposite sex or simply to look and feel good. One certain diet that has been practiced probably since ancient civilizations is vegetarianism.

What is Vegetarianism?

Vegetarianism is defined as a practice of eating only fruits, vegetables and other plant-based products that may or may not include dairy and animal products such as milk, yogurt, cheese and eggs. Being a vegetarian is to abstain completely from eating meat and seafood products such as fish and even shellfish. Some of the most famous vegetarians in the world in the past include John Harvey Kellog, who was famous for his invention of corn flakes, Antoni Gaudi, a famous Spanish Catalan architect, Leo Tolstoy, a renowned Russian novelist, and of course, not to be missed out, the great Italian Renaissance polymath Leonardo da Vinci.

Why Go Vegetarian?

Why famous vegetarians adopt this diet? What makes people decide to forgo meat on their diet? What triggers them to go vegetarian?

The reasons for following a plant-based diet vary from person to person depending on his objective or purpose. Some individuals practice vegetarianism because they grow up in a culture where consumption of any food derived from animals is a taboo or prohibited. Some people, like most famous vegetarians, practice this diet because it is something they are advocating for years and often carried out with a deeper purpose in mind as a social responsibility. This may include protecting the rights of animals and support for various causes that espouse healthy lifestyle to reduce, if not eliminate, diseases from becoming a threat to one’s general well-being.

Kinds of Vegetarianism

The strict diet of fruits and vegetables and other plant-based foods is something true vegetarians adhere to. But do you know that there are a number of types of vegetarianism that people practice around the world? Some of these variations may have something to do with cultural traditions and religious obligations. On the other hand, some types of vegetarianism are borne out of personal preference which has nothing to do with certain cultural mores or moral obligations within a group or society. Many famous vegetarians belong to this group of people.

There are eight existing distinct types of vegetarianism famous vegetarians practice: ovo vegetarianism, lacto vegetarianism, ovo-lacto vegetarianism, veganism, raw veganism, fruitarianism, Buddhist vegetarianism and Jain vegetarianism.

Ovo vegetarianism. This is a type of vegetarianism which permits the consumption of eggs and egg products in one’s diet. The people who practice this particular diet are also called eggetarians in some countries. Ovo vegetarianism specifically disallows consumption of fertilized eggs such as balut and dairy products.

Lacto vegetarianism. This type of vegetarianism allows milk and other dairy products in one’s diet but specifically exclude eggs. This practice is known to be originated in ancient India and usually associated with religious beliefs. The vast majority of vegetarians in India today belong to this group.

Ovo-lacto vegetarianism. Vegetarians who belong to this type generally abstain meat but welcome the inclusion of eggs and dairy products on their diet. In the western concept of vegetarianism, ovo-lacto vegetarianism is the most common type. There are famous vegetarians who practice this type.

Veganism. Vegans abstain all sorts of animal products completely. They strictly adhere to plant-based diets and forgo the consumption of all animal flesh or meat and animal products such as eggs, dairy products and honey. Famous vegetarians who adhere to this type include Bill Clinton and Brad Pitt.

Raw veganism. This may be an extreme variation of veganism. People who practice this type of vegetarianism only consume fresh and uncooked fruits, vegetables, seeds and nuts.

Fruitarianism. This is another extreme type of vegetarianism. Adherents to this type only consume fruits, seeds and nuts but not leafy vegetables.

Buddhist vegetarianism. Loyal adherents to Buddhism faith also practice this type of vegetarianism. They exclude all animal products and vegetables belonging to allium family such as onions and garlic. The yogi Chatral Rinpoche is one of the famous vegetarians who belong to this type.

Jain vegetarianism. Strikingly unique apart from other types in which adherents include dairy products but not eggs, honey and all root vegetables.

Many famous vegetarians in the world today are cultural icons in their own rights. They include Hollywood celebrities and famous politicians and scientists.

Celebrity vegans

Introduction

Vegans are picky eaters. Well, yes, it’s obvious that they shun foods derived from animals. But if they eat out at restaurants, they are still very careful what’s on their plates even if the dish is a vegetarian dish. They need to know what oil is used in cooking the dish. Most celebrity vegans even bring their own chef wherever they go or contact a chef in the locality where they visited to ensure they don’t miss their strict vegan diet.

There are many known celebrity vegans who can’t live a day by taking with them their own chef wherever they go just to ensure they don’t skip their vegan diet on the road. Celebrities enjoy this privilege because they have money to splurge on their vegan lifestyle. But what about those ordinary vegans? How would they be able to keep their vegan diet while on a one-week vacation in a secluded tropical island? Not to worry. Most resorts cater to all kinds of guests who have unique diet requirements. Most resorts would ask their guests their special requirements upon room reservation and that include their special diet needs.

What Constitutes Vegan Diet?

But what really constitutes a vegan diet? All vegans eat exactly the same foods which constitute a vegan diet. Unlike any other vegetarians, they follow a strict diet plan of plant-based foods and nothing more. These plant-based food products can be obtained through careful selection from the organic supermarkets and groceries. Some of them, especially celebrity vegans, have their own garden to keep a steady supply of vegan food.

Vegan diet constitutes plant-based foods, nothing more. Vegan cuisine is very popular in many parts of Asia especially in Vietnam, India, Nepal and Bhutan. In western countries, there are vegan restaurants in almost major cities that offer exclusively vegan cuisine. But most regular restaurants anywhere almost always serve vegan dishes to cater to their vegan guests. Whether you are celebrity vegans or not, feeding on a vegan diet is not at all a problem wherever you go.

Many of the most popular dishes that we know, in fact, are vegan. These include rice and beans, stir-fried veggie, veggie burritos, falafel, ratatouille, hummus and pasta primavera. Some veggie preparations which are perfect as meat substitutes include tofu, seitan and tempeh. They can be added into any vegan dishes as primary ingredients. In lieu of milk from dairy cattle, plant-based milk such as soy milk, almond milk and grain milk are just as delicious but even more nutritious. Many celebrity vegans love these milk products obtained from plants as they loaded with the same nutritional value as animal-based dairy products. Soy milk, in particular, contains about the same proportion of essential nutrients found in cow’s milk like protein, fat, carbohydrates and ash.

Some of the plant-based cooking oil products which are heavily used in vegan cuisine include olive oil, sunflower oil, canola oil and corn oil,  Furthermore, most vegan recipes utilize the many uses of apple sauce, mashed potatoes, soft or sliken tofu, ground flax seeds, starch-based egg substitutes.

What Products Vegans Avoid Using?

Most environmental vegans as well as ethical vegans avoid using anything derived from animals. These include clothing, accessories, everyday items used at home or anything that is produced using materials derived from animals. Common animal-based products and articles used in clothing which are widely available in the market include wool, leather, fur and silk. Most celebrity vegans who call themselves as ethical and environmental vegans never entertain the idea of wearing or using any of those items.

You may not have noticed it, but many of the household items we commonly used are actually derived from animals. They include gelatin, rennet, shellac, bone char, beeswax, bone china, carmine, tallow, casein, lard, lanolin, isinglass, cochineal and yellow grease. Although some of the vegan groups differ in their thoughts as to what constitutes as suitable for vegans, they agree however on the individual’s personal choice and leave it that way so as to preserve their common cause. Most vegans, including celebrity vegans know well enough what products are suitable for them as vegans.

Most of the celebrity vegans in the world especially those from entertainment industry are lending their celebrity status to non-profit organizations in their advocacy campaigns against animal cruelty, commodifying animals for any purpose and preservation of animal rights and protection of animal welfare. They support campaigns against buying or wearing clothing items and accessories such as fur coats, woolen jackets, silken scarves, leather shoes, leather belts and wallets.

Genrel information about Veganism

Introduction

Veganism is a type of vegetarianism that rejects the consumption of all foods derived from animals. Vegans exclusively live on a diet of fruits and vegetables. They also abstain from using anything that is derived from animals like clothing and personal accessories. This type of vegetarianism is primarily motivated by ethics. Most vegans are animal rights activists and support advocacy campaigns against animal cruelty and the consumption of meat from animals considered as working animals or pet animals. Bridgett Bardot is one of the most famous celebrity vegans in the world who is a staunch advocates of the animal welfare.

Other known celebrity vegans include the ravishing 90-year old Betty White and Weird Al Yankovic. These two celebrities have been in the vegan diet for 20 years or more and they both are ardent supporters of animal welfare advocacy campaigns. Although some of them stated that turning veganism was not an easy decision, they are happy with it nonetheless. True, veganism is not something one would embrace in one flick of the finger. Many people turned veganism for various reasons. Some of them for health reasons while some of them are motivated by ethics.

How Veganism Started?

Donald Watson was primarily credited for the veganism movement. At a young age, in his teens, he decided to shy away from eating meat and any food derived from animals such as eggs, milk, butter and other dairy products. In 1944, he founded the Vegan Society along with 23 others in Birmingham, England. The term vegan was coined from the word vegetarian. The first three letters were taken from the first three letters of the word vegetarian and the last two letters were taken from the last letters of the same word. During that time, living exclusively on a diet of fruits and vegetables was still unknown and certainly no celebrity vegans influenced the people to go on a vegan diet.

The decision of Donald Watson to turn vegan was purely ethical. When he was young, while on a trip to his uncle’s farm, he realized how useful animals are in our lives. He thought animals are capable to feel pain and declared that animals should be treated like human beings too. He suggested that man’s exploitation on animals should be limited only to gathering of eggs, milk, wool, and to some extent, in field work and transportation purposes. Mr. Watson died naturally in his home in northern England in 2005 at the age of 95.

Types of Veganism

Veganism comes in three forms, namely: ethical vegans, dietary vegans and environmental vegans. There are lots of famous celebrity vegans who fall into these three types of veganism. Ethical vegans are those who condemn the trading of animals and their by-products for whatever purpose. Dietary vegans, on the other hand, merely rejects meat and other food products derived from animals such as eggs, milk, butter, yogurt, etc. on their diet. Denouncing the use of animal products in clothing and in any other industrial use is the cause advanced by environmental vegans.

Many celebrity vegans, especially the ethical vegans, abhor the exploitation of animals as market commodities. One famous celebrity who has been an active advocate for this cause is Bridget Bardot, a French actress who was once Hollywood’s hottest stars before her retirement in early 1970s. In the latter half of 1980s, she established a foundation that would protect the rights of animals. Without hesitation, she decided to auction off most of her personal possessions including expensive jewelry to fund her foundation. She champions many causes which call for the protection of animals. She openly condemned seal hunting in Canada during her visit to that country. She also appealed to the British government to stop the killings of dolphins in Faroe Islands.

Dietary vegans are far more common than the other two types of veganism. Majority of the celebrity vegans around the world adopt this diet plan. We may not see them holding up placards in the streets of major cities around the world as activists, but most of them secretly oppose animal cruelty as well as exploitation of animals for any purposes. These vegans seldom eat at your usual restaurants in the neighborhood. They prefer eating at home to ensure they eat the right food.

The environmental vegans strongly denounce the use of animal products such as clothing and accessories and many other products derived from animals. They argue that the production of these items is not only damaging to environment but unsustainable as well.

Some stories about famous vegetarians

The Greek mathematician, Pythagoras was a famous vegetarian in the early eighteenth century. Vegetarians were called Pythagoreans until the eighteenth century. Hence was the poet Percy Shelley. Yet, the famous vegetarian movement did not start acquired momentum in the western world until the mid of nineteenth century.

All over the Atlantic, Sylvester Graham who was best known for creating the graham cracker was one of the prominent figures in Britain’s famous vegetarian movement. George Bernard Shaw, who never feels shy with the spotlight, was a vocal proponent of a meat-free diet.

The late eighteenth century’s has seen the attempt to get these societies together for the formation of the famous Vegetarian Federal Union. The successor of the famous vegetarian union, the International Vegetarian Union, was also formed in the year 1908 and remains active in the present days also. In Asia region, the tradition of not eating meat has come from the older traditions. Its origins can be found in the eastern religions like Hinduism and Buddhism, which follows strict vegetarian habit.

There was a general belief that all Buddhists were famous vegetarians which in fact is not true. The argument for Buddhists to consume strict vegetarian diet has been taken from the two basic famous vegetarian principles. The first principle was a trust in reincarnation. They believe that after the human death, the soul of a human being can inhabit an animal and hence this naturally follows that they would refrain from killing animals for diet. But the exclusion was really much more against killing the animals than consuming meat and hence so it could still be permitted to eat an animal which died accidentally.

The second famous vegetarian principle for vegetarianism derives from the ban against harming any living being that is at the core of the Buddhist philosophy. This famous vegetarian principle is uttered by Buddha in the holy Udana. As killing an animal perceptibly causes it dangerous, it would be normal only that practicing Buddhists would follow to a strict vegetarian diet. But there were two big problems with applying these famous vegetarian principles in this everyday world. The first famous vegetarian principle, it is very much impossible for human beings to go through their everyday routines without causing some harm or damage to the world round him. A famous vegetarian noted that every time he wash his hands, he kill so many living creatures residing on his hand. He once saw a interesting film demonstrating about famous vegetarian principle in the amount of deaths and destruction which is brought near by the guileless act of turning on a water sprinkler. Moreover, at least one division of Buddhism needs monks to beg for foodstuff and to eat everything which were given to them but that include meat with some kinds of restrictions. Now in China, monks generally avoid consuming meat except when forced to do so and many lay Buddhists follow this strict famous vegetarian diet as well. But few Buddhists eat meat. In this case, it is remarkable to note that there is evidence the Chinese were following famous vegetarian diet even earlier than the northern Indian monks had brought the Mahayan division of Buddhism to China.

The strict famous vegetarian diet comprises of mostly plant based nutrition and no animal meat. Some semi vegetarians consume eggs and dairy while pure famous vegetarians do not. A vegetarian diet, the strictest form of famous vegetarian, eliminates all animal stuff and animal byproducts. But do not consider those famous vegetarians are deprived. With the contrary version, vegans will have access to everything they would like to eat, only their food diets are made without animal products from cake, cookies, pastries, gravy and ice cream to mock meats which taste so much more like the real things. While the strict famous vegetarian versions of their favorite foods are just as delightful and delicious, if not more, they should not contain cholesterol and exactly no saturated fat or none at all! Then it will be win-win situation for strict famous vegetarians. When there are the some tasty food options available for strict famous vegetarians that involve no cruelty towards the living animals, which are healthier, and the manufacturing of them should be gentle on the environment then choose the more healthy and beneficial choice to be a great famous vegetarian.

There are various famous vegetarian recipes available in the market. The first famous vegetarian recipe is Vegetarian Chilly. This famous vegetarian recipe is prepared in the following way. Heat olive oil in a big stew container. Add some onion and garlic and saut till the onion is wilted for five minutes. Then add mushrooms and saut for another 10 minutes. Stir in green pepper, carrots, cauliflower, potato, corn, beans, tomato juice, tomatoes, celery all seasonings and tomato paste. Get it boil and reduce heat and then simmer.  Cover the container and cook till the vegetables are tender. After 30 minutes, you can add more spices to the famous vegetarian recipe if you like it much hotter. Serve the famous vegetarian into two cups.  The second famous vegetarian recipe is vegetarian casserole. This famous vegetarian recipe is made from defrosting vegetable and dries it off in between paper towels. Mix all these ingredients together well and bake it in greased casserole with cup soft bread crumbs and apply tablespoon butter over the top. Bake it for 30 minutes. A wonderful and famous vegetarian dish is ready to eat with your partner. The third famous vegetarian recipe is tomatoes spanish style. Peeling and slicing the one quart of tomatoes and remove the tomato seeds inside them, and cut them in small pieces into three bell peppers. Then boil and add tomatoes and peppers to the onions, and simmer for one hour. Flavor with two level teaspoons of salt and half teaspoon of black pepper. Cool and keep the famous vegetarian recipe on ice for several hours. Take three cups of bread crumbs with five tablespoons of butter or oil. Fill a baking container with different layers of tomatoes and bread crumbs. Moisten each tomato layer with oil and cover top with bread crumbs, and make it bake in a slow oven about one hour. If needed, three tablespoons of sugar may be supplemented to the mixture while it is being cooked for the first time. Hence the famous vegetarian recipe is ready to serve for the lunch.
